Stephanie Bova has spent nearly three decades as a business operator across R&D, commercial, manufacturing, and business development inside some of the world’s most complex regulated enterprises — and has consistently been an early adopter of the technologies that help operators win.
She was previously Corporate Vice President and Digital Transformation Officer for R&D at Novo Nordisk, where she modernized the R&D business application landscape, was first in industry to deploy AI agents and process intelligence in pharmaceutical R&D that significantly reduced cycle time, and built the measurement disciplines to tie technology investment to business outcomes. She oversaw a technology and data portfolio exceeding $400M USD with direct P&L accountability.
Her operating career spans senior leadership at Novo Nordisk, Becton Dickinson, Novartis, Takeda, and Pfizer — repeatedly taking on the problem most enterprises struggle with: making technologies like AI and automation deliver measurable results in environments where regulatory complexity, data governance, and organizational scale make that exceptionally hard. At Takeda, she founded and led a $150M digital health venture fund, created digital health and technology startups — serving as CEO and founder of one — and held board roles across the portfolio.
Stephanie now leads Mirai Advisors, working directly with senior healthcare executives on deploying AI and enterprise technology that drives outcomes they can put a number on. She is a member of the Global Advisory Council at Service Now and is also a member of IVP’s Paragon Advisors program, advising across their top tier startup ecosystem.
