As Director Enterprise Project Management Office, Sarah operates at strategic level in collaboration with senior executives across the agency. She is responsible for coordinating, orchestrating and executing portfolios, initiatives, and programs and products to achieve business outcomes. Sarah and her team have successfully implemented ServiceNow’s Strategic Portfolio Management platform to streamline portfolio alignment, enhance data accuracy and improve reporting. Her implementation of the platform brings holistic visibility to executive for planning and governance purposes. This allows effective management to deliver critical, funded initiatives on the agency’s business and digital roadmaps which have been developed to guide the implementation of a future operating model.
Sarah’s previous roles include the development of digital strategic directions, short and longterm plans, and operational strategies at the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. She also managed the ICT portfolio of investments and data platform teams at the Department of Education, Skills and Employment, where she was an integral part of establishing the Enterprise Portfolio Project Office.
Sarah is well versed in providing high-level portfolio and project management advice and assurance to senior executives, investment boards and steering committees. In addition to developing fit for purpose enterprise project management frameworks, governance and assurance models, and standardised methods to strengthen project management, Sarah has hands-on experience in managing large and complex IT projects.
