Selenay Akalin is an AI Governance practitioner leading the development of Sky’s AI governance programme, embedding ethical AI principles into everyday decision-making to support responsible innovation. She has experience in data and AI strategy at Gartner and Avanade, where she’s supported other organisations in building responsible AI frameworks, and holds a Master’s in AI Ethics from the University of Cambridge. Her work focuses on operationalising governance frameworks, managing emerging risks, and translating regulation into practical application to build trustworthy AI systems.
