Since its establishment in 2024, the Defence ServiceNow Enterprise Platform (DESP) has become a cornerstone of Defence’s digital transformation—designed to unify service delivery across one of the most complex and distributed organisations in Australia.

At scale, the platform supports more than 165,000 users, including ADF personnel, APS staff, contractors, veterans, and industry partners. Operating across multiple production environments, DESP acts as the digital front door to Defence services, spanning IT, HR, facilities, legal, and external engagement.
