The Now Assist for Creator Lab is a hands-on workshop designed to showcase how generative AI can empower citizen developers to build applications quickly and efficiently using natural language. Centred around a real-world use case, the lab follows Alexandra, a training manager at ACME, who digitises her manual cross-training programme using ServiceNow’s Now Assist for Creator. Participants learn to create a fully functional app that manages training topics, volunteer sign-ups, attendee registration, and feedback collection—all without needing extensive coding skills.
The lab covers key capabilities including App Generation, Catalog Item Generation, Flow and Playbook Generation, Code Generation, and collaboration features. Each module demonstrates how AI can automate workflows, standardise processes, and reduce development time. The lab also includes simulation and testing exercises to validate user experiences across different roles. For Singapore’s public sector and enterprise audiences, this lab is especially relevant as it aligns with Smart Nation goals by enabling scalable, low-code solutions and fostering digital innovation across departments. By the end of the lab, participants will have built a robust training management app and gained practical experience in leveraging AI to accelerate digital transformation.
