What started as an effort to gain visibility into OT assets and vulnerabilities across more than 30 manufacturing sites at Daimler Truck has grown into a strategic enabler for OT security transformation. In collaboration with Armis and Deloitte a long-term program has been established that extends far beyond vulnerability scanning.

Based on practical experience from day-to-day operations, this session shares key success factors, challenges, and lessons learned. We will discuss the rollout of OTORIO, the benefits of Smart Active Query, and why strong collaboration between OT, IT, and local site teams is critical for success. Attendees will learn why there is no one-size-fits-all approach for OT environments, why vulnerability management must be viewed as an ongoing journey, and how comprehensive asset visibility is laying the foundation for risk-based OT governance.
